The truth of the matter is that I’ve never really made friends with video. I’ve tried. Sure, I do alright when I prop myself up with a certain amount of make up and my hair done with a decent outfit and someone interviews me. But the performance aspect of it gives me the idgity willies. It doesn’t seem real. And me setting up a camera to talk on my own? Hah! Yeah. No dice.
And I don’t know why, but podcasting has been off my radar for years. Absolute years. Until, on a drive across the country from Colorado to the Pacific Northwest, I asked my Spirit Business Team (yes, I talk with them) “How the hell am I going to begin marketing my work again from a flat-footed leap after the whole platform died a business death during Covid?”
You know what their answer was? One word: “Podcast.”
Eureka! OMG. Podcasting. Of course. I can speak and my voice can be heard, but I don’t have to be on camera. Why didn’t I think of this?!
And then it occurred to me that this wasn’t just for my Somatic Money platform, I also HAD to do this for my written word here at Along the Learning Curve of Life! Doing a podcast of my written word is probably even more important than the business platform so that I can bring my creative words to life through vibration. Powerful.
And that is why we now have The Learning Curve of Life coming to you in podcast form at Podbean. As well as these other channels and YouTube.
As they say, stay tuned!
